Holiday Clubs

Our holiday clubs are an exciting time of worship, learning and outreach involving the whole church family.

Easter (April)

Our Easter Holiday Club is usually on Good Friday morning and involves craft, music and drama, elements of which are then incorporated into the Family Service which follows. In previous years we have enjoyed making Easter gardens, Easter bonnets and stained glass windows, and our activities have included singing, African drumming and dance. Although primarily for children, there is something for all ages.

Summer (August)

Over the years, St Katharine's and St Margaret's have become renowned for running dynamic and exciting summer holiday clubs. In the past, these have been Biblically-themed programmes based on the latest Scripture Union resources, combining storytelling, competitions, singing and prayers, together with craftwork and outdoor games. However in August 2014, we launched a new style musical summer holiday club, with children aged 8 to 15 working together to stage a musical at the end of a week of workshops in acting, singing, dancing, makeup and craft!
