Meet the New Rector
16th July 2017
We are looking forward to welcoming Tim and Debbie Edwards at the beginning of July to start Tim's new job in Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount. A new Rector is always formally welcomed to their new parishes by the Bishop, in this case, the Bishop of Rochester James Langstaff. This special service will take place on Saturday 15th July at 5.30pm in St Katharine's Church, Knockholt. Those at the service will be representatives of Rochester Cathedral, local clergy (to welcome a new colleague), ministers who have helped out during our time without a Rector, members of the Deanery Synod, representatives of our schools and some of our local organisations, and some members of each congregation - quite a number which will fill St Katharine's to the brim! We haven't been able to invite everyone, but there is another chance for you to meet Tim and Debbie on Sunday 16th July at the 9am Early Bird Service at St Katharine's, Knockholt and then at 11am at the Family Communion at St Margaret's, Halstead, with refreshments afterwards. (We've delayed the start of the Family Communion on this occasion to give Tim more time to meet families at the Early Bird Service in Knockholt). Tim and Debbie are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible, so please come on 16th July if you can.

Jean Peel and Alan Brown (Churchwardens St Margaret's, Halstead)
