Sarah Essam | Associate Webmaster

I moved to Knockholt in 1999 with my husband, Danny, and son Cameron then 4. His siblings Katya and Luke arrived in 1999 and 2003 and were both baptised at St Katharine's. All the children attended St Katharine's School and went on to Bennett Memorial School in Tunbridge Wells, although Cameron left in Year 10 to study acting at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. Over the years all have enjoyed singing in the choir, participating in holiday clubs and Sunday Club.

I work for a small charity in London and commute daily to Charing Cross from Knockholt Station. In my spare time I enjoy watching football - supporting Arsenal and Welling United - reading, going to the theatre and walking Trevor our Springer Spaniel.

As well as being associate webmaster for the united benefice website, I am a member of the St Katharine's PCC and the PCC representative on the Knockholt Village Centre Council and the Board of Trinity School. I am also the point of contact for the Manna Society and regularly take donations from the benefice to their centre for the homeless at London Bridge, particularly at harvest time.
